In 2010, Mel enjoyed a surprise success with a limited edition album from Feeding Tube Records on 12-inch gatefold vinyl. Pitched at an outrageously expensive price, the first edition sold out, as of course had Mel. Feeding Tube followed this up with a companion second volume in 2016, also on warm, throbbing vinyl. This coincided with The Games Collector label offering Mel a seven album deal to release everything he had ever recorded, along with outtakes and unreleased material. The CD and download versions of these were released in 2017, while the vinyl editions seem to be stuck up the arse of fate at the moment.
